On July 29, 2020, the service of regular container cargo transportation along the route China - Moscow Region (TLC "Bely Rast") was successfully tested and launched.
The pilot train that arrived at the station was met by high-ranking officials: Evgeny Ditrikh (Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation), Oleg Belozerov (General Director of Russian Railways), Anna Krotova (Deputy Minister of Transport in the Moscow Region), Andrey Strukov (Deputy Head of the FCS), Ma Yunchi (General Director of TLC Bely Rast ") and others.
Oleg Belozerov, Director General of Russian Railways, noted the importance of the event: "The well-coordinated work of the structures we represented has made it possible to create a demanded modern service of railway transportation. The volume of cargo transportation from China to European countries is increasing - during July 2020, traffic increased by 100%. In 2019, we reached the maximum figures for container transportation by Russian railways. This is 5 million TEU. This terminal, where we are gathered today, will become an important site, handling about 700,000 containers. "
On the first container train, equipment for companies working in the agro-industrial complex arrived from China to Russia. The speed of movement of the train in the Russian Federation was on average 1300 km per day. The route from the Mongolian border to the Moscow region was covered in 4.5 days.
The opportunity to organize container shipments from China to the Russian Federation on a regular basis appeared after the launch of the complex TLC "Bely Rast". It includes:
- a terminal capable of processing 275,000 TEU annually;
- a complex of sorting warehouses for universal purposes, a terminal for inert cargo;
- three railway tracks with a length of 1050 m for rigging;
- warehouse for storage of containers with a capacity of 3.1 thousand TEU;
- parking for trucks;
- intra-terminal road network;
- building for TLC personnel and customs infrastructure.
On the day of arrival of the train, the officials meeting the train agreed on cooperation in order to implement the project task of the federal level "Transport logistics centers". The signing of the agreement was attended by: Alexey Semenov (Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation), Andrey Starkov (Corporate Director of Russian Railways), Alexey Gerzhik (Minister of Transport of the Moscow Region) and Ma Yunchi as General Director of the TLC "Bely Rast".
By the end of 2020, it is planned to complete the construction of facilities capable of expanding the capacity of the TLC. This is a depot of empty containers, equipment for refrigerated containers, distribution warehouses of 37 m2. Also, an IS complex is being created on the terminal, including CRM, NOS, ERP systems, electronic document management. By the end of 2020, it is planned to receive and handle about 455 container trains (45.5 thousand TEU).
Officials unanimously recognized the service's promise, announced plans for the development of the TLC, including modernization to a wide-profile industrial park.
