On December 24, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Hanhui held a press conference in Moscow and announced that the total trade volume for the preliminary results of 2019 between China and Russia reached $ 100.32 billion.
It was noted that several major projects were implemented during the year, such as:
- We launched the Power-Siberia gas pipeline;
- Completed the construction of the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe road bridge;
- Work continued on the construction of the Nizhneleninskoye - Tongjiang railway bridge.
One of the most important areas for the development of cooperation, the ambassador noted the conduct of joint projects in the Far East and the Arctic.
The Chinese embassy's forecasts for the coming years are very optimistic. By 2024, Russia and China have set a goal to achieve a trade volume of $ 200 billion.
