HOW TO DELIVER CARGO FROM CHINA?

China is the most attractive trading partner for Russian business. Here you can buy absolutely any product at the most affordable cost. Therefore, many domestic entrepreneurs are trying to establish supplies from this country to increase their profits. Today there are several ways of transportation from China to Russia. Each of them has its own characteristics, prices, pros and cons.

RAILWAY

Trains are in great demand, as they allow the transport of goods in significant volumes at the same time. In most cases, this method is used as a link in multimodal transportation, when the cargo is sent by sea to the port of Russia, and then along the railways to the final point of arrival. If desired, railway transportation can be used as an independent mode of transport. In this case, delivery is carried out in two ways:

  1. To the Russian border and further along the Trans-Siberian Railway. Border zones are located exclusively in the Far East in Transbaikalia.

  2. To the border through Kazakhstan or Mongolia.

BY SEA

They account for more than half of the world trade turnover. This is the best way for those who want to receive a large amount of goods at a low cost in non-urgent mode. Moreover, it is the most ancient and, accordingly, developed method of transportation in China. More than 100 small port offices and 30 large ports are equipped in the country. Delivery of cargo to Russia is possible on several routes: To St. Petersburg, Far Eastern ports and coastal zones of the Black Sea.

Based on the specifics of the transported contents, you can independently choose the optimal type of container that provides the maximum level of protection, the required temperature regime, tightness, regular air circulation and many other parameters. This is especially true for industrial and manufacturing equipment, household chemicals and textiles.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

As a rule, it is used for delivery to the railway station or port department. It is rarely used for international transportation, since a number of external factors (road surface, weather conditions, driver's professionalism, criminal situation, quality of gasoline, etc.) strongly influence the success of the process.

Most often, road transportation is used to deliver goods to regions bordering the PRC. In this case, the transportation period can be 7 days. Automobile transport allows you to significantly save on time and money, since it does not need an additional unloading vehicle. Moreover, it is often the only way to safely transport fragile products or products requiring special safety. This can be medical equipment, electrical devices, etc.

BY AIR

This is the fastest (especially in comparison with competitive methods), reliable, safe, but expensive way to receive cargo. The average delivery time to the customer is only 3 days (taking into account customs clearance). This is an indispensable method for companies that need to receive cargo quickly. Most often these are fragile products (glass or crystal products), jewelry and perishable foodstuffs.

The only disadvantage of air transportation is its small capacity compared to rail transportation. The maximum allowable cargo weight is 1.5 tons, so the use of aircraft is not the best option for large shipments, however, the minimum batch weight is unlimited.
