Trains are in great demand, as they allow the transport of goods in significant volumes at the same time. In most cases, this method is used as a link in
multimodal transportation, when the cargo is sent by sea to the port of Russia, and then along the railways to the final point of arrival. If desired, railway transportation can be used as an independent mode of transport. In this case, delivery is carried out in two ways:
- To the Russian border and further along the Trans-Siberian Railway. Border zones are located exclusively in the Far East in Transbaikalia.
- To the border through Kazakhstan or Mongolia.
