According to the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation, customs clearance of cargo can be completed by customs, as a rule, no later than 1 business day following the day of registration of the declaration with all the release rules, or after the day of occurrence of one of the circumstances specified in the Customs Code of
the EAEU Art. 119 clause 3 . The term may be extended (for example, if it becomes necessary to carry out an examination of the cargo), which may adversely affect the transported products (especially for food and other products with a short shelf life). Therefore, it is highly recommended to cooperate with a logistics company that has specialists in customs clearance and preparation of certificates on its staff. This will help to shorten the transportation time, and also prevent possible delays and financial losses.
